Saw Last Night On the News That ...

Jimmy Bell was joining the MSU football team (he has exhausted his basketball eligibility and can play 1 year of football)? He supposedly was going through spring practice. Any truth to this? If so what position will he "most likely" play - tight end or lineman?

Isn't he a little light to play offensive lineman these days - most are 300lbs and above?

I think I saw he was 6'10" and 280 lb, so needs to bulk up some but not crazy. He could also be a short yardage TE.

Ain’t no way he is 280. Closer to 310 by the end of the season.

It's intriguing for sure. I would expect Lebby to use him kind of like OM used Pegues. Short yardage h back/TE and probably play D line.

Goal line TE. Lob it up. Let the 6'-10" basketball player box out and get the rebound

Might also be a X factor on blocking FGs
