Not sure I agree with that. We can beat TN twice but get blown out today. They shot 50%. We shot 37%. I do think our ?team? does not have an identity and doesn?t understand their roles. And our offensive leader is a freshman. Just not much leadership and high basketball IQ in this group. I don?t call them a team.

Well we do match up well with them. That is not false. We also got extremely lucky Knecht was 4-17 in the SECT game and was a non factor in the 1st half against us the first time.

We aren't talented offensively outside of Hubbard. Like at all. Gotta have more than one shooter. Gotta have more than two shooters. Jans has struggled getting big talent. I don't know if we have the money to beat out anybody for guys.

We need to do everything we can to keep Hubbard if we want another chance to make the NCAA tournament next year. This might not be a popular opinion, but I am glad Tolu is gone and we can move forward. Honestly, I thought we were a better team in the non conference outside the Southern fiasco without him. It’s going to be key for Jans to get some portal players that can shoot the ball. Andrew Taylor not working out really hurt us. We can’t let that happen again. Hopefully we can get another year out of Cam.

Keep Hubbard and Cam. Murphy has potenitlal but is lazy; not sure if he can grow to a big contributor or not. Jones is what he is; bench depth. We need a complete roster rebuild. There are a few guys on bench that might can become good players. Never know, we've had several transfer players do well - Quenton Post to name one.

Yea. nothing to be excited about. We made the tournament 2 years in a row.
Some people forget where we place in the realm of Basketball.
That's a great point to build upon especially in the world of NIL.

Read the post. "Not a single positive thing in that GAME to get excited about." The game was a pitiful performance and sour way to end the season.

Is the basketball program in a better spot than the Rick Ray years and Howland years, yes. Am I glad we made the tournament 2 years in a row, yes. Overall was it a good season, yes. Doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the fact that we just got absolutely punked and showed 0 fight to end the season. Is it too much to ask that we win a single game in the tournament?

Believe me... I'm aware, forget what I tried to put together for the board? . It will continue to be our problem until either the system changes or people change (yea right.... )
