    I always think it best that family not read or respond message boards where the sole purpose is to discuss, analyze, criticize and exercise a strong opinion about the exploits of 18-23 year old athletes.

    It's tough to have family involved in message board talk. I tried to stay away and not spread rumors. There was one poster on ED that really got under my skin. But to each their own.
    I wish the best for parents and grandparents in the future with ballplayers involved in Msu sports.

    Glad I don't have to deal with this situation now.

    I some times pray that if mine continues to develop and become good enough to play there - they choose another school - so my affection for state doesn?t change

    You're right as always Base. You know if you have kids playing you're gonna hear stuff no matter how good they play and it's hard to be thick skinned.

    I'm not related in any way. Just thought it was weird that he gets singled out.
    Bench him for the rest of the season for all I care.

    The bat is not there, but imo is really good in left field.

    Has been a good contact hitter up until a few games ago.

    Just now checked the responses to this thread I started. Been in Orange Beach this weekend and I took a break from all devices for a bit.

    I'll be heading across I-10 to Biloxi for those games at Shuckers stadium on Tuesday. If any of you that flamed me want to meet up and discuss our lineup in person, I'm game.
