Foscue absolutely tattooed that ball to left....but it drifted foul
Foscue got him rattled
Four straight balls after the tattoo ball and we have 1 on, no out
Pimentel swings and misses. That's 8 K for Chamberlain. Runner on 1st with 1 out. James up to the plate.
Pitch in the dirt and Foscue takes 2nd. Wait....dispute over James being in the way.
WELL, NICE JOB JAMES.
James determined to have stepped over the plate. Interference on James and he's out. Foscue back to first. 2 outs.
Our hitters...... not sure what they are looking for. He has a curve and he has a fastball. Pick one and keep your bat into the zone to make contact.
Bet the Tanner Legget looks at strike 3 in this at bat. It would be typical to miss on scoring a run here. Mississippi state style.
Single through the left side. Runners at 1st and 2nd with 2 outs. Leggett up to the plate.
These runners need to do their best to stay in this guys head. Good move by the batter stepping out and then looking at the curve work on the plate.
Leggett needs to have a seat.
Then he follows that up with staring at the fastball.
Boom called it. Strike 3. Hate being right. Missed that ball by 8 inches and .3 of a second.
It was a ball by the way.
Our hitters need to get focused out there.
I don't understand how we could sit Landon Jordan.
I would have pinch hit there just after seeing Legetts first AB
when you miss it by 8 inches and are .3 of a second late on the pitch, it is like you just looked at it. The bat and ball where never in the same realm on that swing. Virtually impossible to hit if your bat is still behind the plate.
I mean, he watched a curve go by for a strike. Then he watched a fastball go by down the pipe. Then he just swung cause he was scared.
Also Pimentel cheese was supposed to be a stud, well he can join the party whenever he feels like it
