Looking just at SEC teams against conference opponents (since that's all we play this year)
2019 Vandy was 12.8
2017 Tennessee was 14.1
2016 S. Carolina was 15.8
2015 Vandy was 13.3 and Missouri was an unreal 9.1
UT fired Butch after '17; USC did nothing (kept HC and Co-OC's); Gary Pinkel retired.
That's just the past few years in the SEC. So, yeah we are bad, but not historically bad.
Interesting side note - in 2010, MSU was next to last (11th) in scoring offense in conference play at 18.9 ppg.
