Lane is using the change of heart and his kids as cover for waiting for another shoe to drop. I really think Sexton told him to hold up b/c some other equal or better opportunities were gonna open up.

Well at least on this story, the AU people on multiple sites are reporting this is what happened.

Based on what has happened so far, it is clear AU thought they had a coach. Now maybe it was freezus, but I can't imagine going after freezus over kiffin, but maybe.

Ohio State's grief is only temporary. The team is 11-1. Granted, they had a poor showing Saturday agains Michigan but still, 11-1 is an outstanding season.

The other two have a right to be upset.
