It only matters where you end up but I thought we'd be a little higher than 9th. I was thinking top 5 but it really doesn't matter other than to give us something to bitch about.

The media just can't fathom putting Vandy, LSU or Florida below us. Really shows the power of perception versus reality.

That seems kinda low. But im sure they are just looking at losing Bednar Allen and Rowdy

IMO, we can beat every team ranked above us. Screw it.

This is going to be a fun year.

I honestly had always penciled in this coming season as our NC run. Last year really suprised me.

It's low but it doesn't matter. We probably end up in Omaha again. Anything less than a Super Regional for us would be disappointing.

I don't see how you put that many teams ahead of us. Yes we lost some good players but so did others. After a NC, no way we should that far down but who cares. Just gives our guys some extra motivation.

I think the thinking was is that MSU lost their 3 best players on their team with 2 of them being everyday players.

There are so many “IF’s” involved with baseball. If lsu finds pitching, if Florida doesn’t play like pussies, if all of those juco pitchers olemiss singed pans out. We could go on and on.

I though we would be a little bit higher though. But, we are hitting that point with the roster where most of our higher rated recruits have started to filter out and the new higher rated recruits are still in h.s.

Vandy losses their two 3 year starters and they still come in at #2, sure. I find our ranking totally a slight to our program.

I think anywhere in the 4-7 range is fair for us.

Damn! Dirty Mike and the boys gonna have to jump 18 teams pretty quick to claim their yearly First Week of March National Champion trophy.

Also big time this.

We have to find a #2 and #3 starter. We have guys on the roster that can do it. But we will see.

I’ll say this. Of course, I could be way off base. After watching Coach Lemonis’ specifically last year and his recruiting, I’ve got an answer to a widely held sentiment. No one will ever do what Skip Bertman did again. “Oh yeah, watch this shit”.

If there is ANY team in the country that can even get close, it’s us.
