In 2022, the MLB overall average is .243 batting average, .312 OBP, and .396 slugging. Hunter is hitting .251 with .302 OBP and .522 slugging. He has 19 homers in just 68 games played. The two stints on IR because of hamstring and calf have hurt his overall numbers.Quote:

Good for Hunter. But those averages are abysmal. Ever since the focus became the Long Ball and Strikeouts and low BAs be damned, the game just isn?t as fun.
