New tor warning for rotation near Wesson moving towards Mount Olive. Not a confirmed tornado but strengthening rotation on radar. I have not seen a debris ball yet.
Why do tornadoes love this area so much? What makes this area so conducive to them forming?
Appreciate the heads up guys. Was hoping this system wasn't going to be bad.
Hey D dawg new warning and its headed to you. North of you Comence, near Mt Olive.
Hey Downward take cover now if your still around Bay Springs. A confirmed one is on the ground headed towards you. It just hit Taylorsville.
Reporting in from the northern edge of the metropolis known as Mt. Olive: All is well here. We had strong NW winds for a couple of minutes as the core of whatever formed or was trying to form passed about 3 or 4 miles to my south.
Just missed me. Could hear it but was just north of me. Damn it was loud!
I'm just north of Collins at my farm this week. Was in between Easter storm an Christmas storm. God might be trying to tell me something.
Glad y'all are ok.
Front has pushed through and all severe threat is gone. Cold air is rapidly funneling in so we've seen our high temps for the day. Don't be surprised to see a flurry or two as the cold air rings out any remaining moisture, but no impacts are expected.
