It will be interesting to see if Ark lives up to the hype. If the barn is as bad as predicted, there is no way the coach makes it the entire season, I wouldn't be surprised if they rally around the "us against the world" cry and do better than expected.
Damn, Arkansas plays both BYU and Cincinnati as OOCs this season. They'll lose one of those games.
Poor Auburn. If they do truly finish #41 at the end of the season they'll be a riot at Toomer's Corner. Harsin is a fired coach walking.
LSU finishing #26 may be about right. I'd switch them with us at the end of the season. I don't think their defense will be good.
Finishing #30 for us ain't too bad but I expect more. I believe we'll finish in the top #25.
Top 25 will look a lot different at the end of the season. I think we survive our brutal schedule and hit the top 25.
How is Arkansas going to replace Burks? 1104 yards and 11 td's last year but they're going to be better now???
Having the QB and nearly the entire OL back usually goes a long way. The rushing game should be one of the best in the country.
I don't think Jadon Haselwood will replace Burks but I do expect Arkansas to spread the ball around more instead of force-feeding it to Burks so much (rightfully so). WR and DL are definitely weaknesses though. Arkansas did sign three 4* WRs but can't expect them to contribute right away.
UPig will be better offensively but worse on D. They are coached well and will be a solid team
All depends on how Alabama transfer Drew Sanders does at MLB and LSU transfer Dwight McGlothern does at CB. They obviously have the talent after starting games in the SEC last year. Having Bumper Pool back at OLB, and Catalon back at safety after being hurt last year will help.
DT is a big concern though. Won't matter if the DL can't get any penetration.
Yeah he's probably going to start in the middle right away, coaching staff really likes him. Idk how well he'll do in pass coverage but his sideline-to-sideline speed was impressive in the spring game. Ran down one of our fastest players in Malik Hornsby before he could get to the edge.
I guess we didn't pick up any transfers, or don't have a returning qb, or rb.
