Enyce Sledge -- big DT out of Monroe, LA.
I actually saw him post under Emerick's twitter post tonight. Kid faced a LOT of double teams in his video, and he more than held his own and then some. Needs some technique work, but dang, he's a freakin' bull!

Another major DT, this time from Columbia, Mississippi
Jaheim Oatis. What a beast.
You've probably seen this short video of him that circulated twitter this fall, and I honestly had no idea this is who it was:
https://twitter.com/jaheimoatis/stat...237118976?s=21
I can't find updated video of this season, but his stats are crazy. Got one buddy that coached against him, and he said "a freak....just a monster in the middle that haunts you all week long trying to prep for him".
Will be hard to fight off Bama and LSU.
ETA:
I did find this one video of him. He apparently also is the kicker for KOs. And he straight de-cleated this poor returner 😳😳😳😳😳👀👀👀
Follow the link above to his twitter page, it's the post right above the one linked. Funny stuff
State target #1 -
Khamauri Rogers - CB
I know he's been an LSU fan his whole life, but you need to work the recruiting to the end with this kid. He's as good of a cant miss CB as there is.

My personal #1 target is
Zxavian Harris - DT
Germantown HS
Madison, MS
He's 6'8" 330 lbs
I'll let his film tell the tale
https://www.hudl.com/video/3/1154106...f62d09a8e8e417
He's the NT that this defense needs. And he's quick enough and long enough to slide him to DE at times and really wreck a place up.
huge OT prospect:
Kiyaunta Goodwin 6'8" 305 lbs
- ain't no bad weight on this cat.
Adidas All American

That's some serious speed and footwork 👀
3 ⭐️ Safety prospect that seems high on us
Jaydon Hodge 6' 170 lbs

Big OT target, and is a teammate of 2020 OT signee Canon Boone.
PATRICK WILLIAMS - 4 ⭐️ OT/LT 6'4"

So who's gonna be OM's flipmas candidates for next December? I wish I was kidding.
We will get whomever Ole Miss, LSU, or Bama doesn’t want. Our Cigarillo Chumps are on top of it.
We're playing checkers, while everyone else are playing chess. Seriously. As I've said a thousand times, nothing against Bracky as a person, but he should not be in that position. This is an institutional/cultural problem systemic at MSU. Every other school that's serious about playing football seriously have guys in that position who've previously worked in the area of NCAA compliance (many actually for the NCAA...literally/flipped double-agents). We're literally tying our hands behind our back while we slowly shuffle to a fist-fight with our socks and sandals. We are literally perpetuating ourselves in underachieving. It boggles the mind.
Here's who I would consider early targets that MSU has a good shot with AS OF NOW:
Stone Blanton - 4 star MLB from MRA. He's also a baseball commit to us, but he's receiving national interest from the likes of Clemson, so we're going to have to fight to get him here. Grew up a State fan and wants to play baseball here, so we've got as good of a shot as any.
JD Stewart - 3 star OLB from Greenwood. Very good player who has consistently named State as his leader. We've had good success with kids from Greenwood and the delta.
Donterry Russell - 3 star DE/Edge from Provine. Younger brother of Demonte Russell. Built just like Demonte. Gonna be a good one. We have a great shot with him.
Marquez Dortch - 4 star CB from George County. Ole Miss probably has the edge with him now that MJ flipped. But, never say never I guess.
Zxavian Harris - 4 star DT from Germantown. Like I said earlier, this is a dude we pretty much have to get. With the lack of in-state DL in the state this year, we've got to make up for it next year with a guy like him. He seems to like State so far, but man, we'll have to fight the big boys off for him.
Shazz Preston - 4 star WR from St. James, LA. Younger brother of Shawn Preston. I think LSU gets him if they want him, because like we saw with Malik Nabers today, if LSU wants a Louisiana kid, 9 times out of 10, they're gonna get that kid. But you never know with a sibling on the team.
Larry Simmons - 4 star WR from Moss Point. Still very early with him. I know Ole Miss is after him hard. If we some how land him early, here's your annual flip candidate. Looks to be the early frontrunner for the best WR in the state.
Bryson Hurst - 4 star OT from Gautier. Best OL in Mississippi so far. Ole Miss is also on him. With the air raid, it's going to be tough to recruit high quality OL, because other schools negatively recruit by saying it doesn't prepare you well for the next level. We'll be in the mix, but still too early
Jaydon Hodge - 3 star S from Ocala, FL. Thanks to Jamar Chaney, we probably lead for this guy. Good player with good offers early on. Hope we stay on him.
Jacoby Matthews - 4 star S from Ponchatoula, LA. He's consistently talked well of State and included them in lists and such, but again, wouldn't get my hopes up with him being a highly touted Louisiana kid. Eff those coon asses.
Khamauri Rogers - 4 star CB from Holmes County. Currently an LSU commit, but he's fallen down the rankings over the last few months, so I'm not sure if he sticks with them or not. We just signed his teammate in Corey Ellington so hopefully that helps. Holmes County Central is a very pro MSU school.
James Monds III - 3 star CB from Fort Pierce, FL. We're on this kid pretty hard and he seems to be returning the love. Always tweets positive stuff about MSU. I believe he even made the trip up to Starkville for the game this past Saturday. Hopefully, Jamar Chaney can close the deal on this guy too.
Kailep Edwards - 3 star MLB from Edgard, LA. We seem to lead for this guy early. I don't think he's good enough for LSU to take him, but he seems solid. We should bring in a nice haul of LBs next year.
RJ Moss - 3 star DE from Biloxi. Received offers from the instate schools but has remained quiet since. Probably a wait and see guy at this point, but we should have a decent shot if we push.
It’s depressing to think about but we simply won’t win a head to head battle for any player that LSU, Ole Miss, or Bama really wants. We don’t have the network or recruiters to do it. Our administration is fine with that. Handle it like baseball recruiting you know.
I'm just going to go on the record and say we get all of who everybody doesn't really want, 1/2 of who everybody kinda wants, and none who everybody really wants.
Can we get a mod to sticky this to the top for us?
Comited until they get a better offer ??????
Pickering, Charles Cross, Dollar Bill, Malik Heath, Javonta Peyton
Yes, yesterday sucked on the flip front but it’s not like we haven’t recruited and signed guys that those teams wanted.
Alright, if one of you on here really does have an "in" with the recruiting staff, please pass this kid along.....

Shameless plug for this kid AGAIN.
He is completely blowing up right now in recruiting. Gained multiple G5 offers early on, now he is gaining P5 offers - most notably Utah and Ole Miss. This is a kid that is a legit 4 ⭐️ OT prospect that is currently a 3 ⭐️....just watch. He's gonna blow up the rankings.
And he is everything we could want in an OT
We need to full court press Klubnik and Bailey. Getting either one of those two would be MASSIVE. Hell Klubnik is probably going to end up the second ranked QB in the country behind Ewers.
The subject line I am getting out of this thread is. If their rating is dropping we have a chance. If the higher profile programs don't offer we have a chance. If old miss doesn't offer a red back pack we have a chance. Yes we are still poor little old Mississippi state. That seems to be the mind set.
