The kid has a 35 on the ACT
If Johnson goes to Northwestern it’s for academics and life after football more than football itself.. and if that’s the decision he makes then great for him..
if he comes here that would even better.. we need quality kids on the roster that are also talented enough to possible contribute on the field.
the more of those guys we have the better ..
New 2021 offer:

Also, and I know it's not good to think this way, but imagine if we had kept Nabers and MJ. If we add Hargrove, we would have had eight 4 stars by either composite or 247. Would've been a top 20 class and probably the best in on paper in recent history. Oh well. I'll be happy with the ones we get.
What is the story on Hargove? Obviously, seems like a fantastic get this late in the game if it does indeed happen, but why isn't he committed somewhere? Spots fill up on his other options?
Khi Holiday 2021 Grad from Tupelo TCPS posted last night he had received his first D1 Offer from MSU... he?s 5?9? 160 lb Athlete, but he ran a sub 4.4 40 on a laser yesterday...does this mean the French Camp guy is going to Northwestern or will Khi be a preferred walkon?
Hargrove doesn't have homerun speed, but he is deceptively quick - his legs look like a chunk of pulp wood when running. So that might solve breaking tackle issues
So does that mean we view Simeon Price as a WR? Or was that always the case?
It may turn out like that. He's a great athlete with NFL pedigree. His Dad was a DB in the NFL. We might move him there based on need. I'd look at Holiday as a DB as well if I were in the coaches shoes.
I could see a player like Holiday helping out in the return game with that kind of speed.
