Weekend Prediction Time- Down on the Bayou Edition

Alright, MASSIVE first series from a national perspective and could set up a possible 1 vs 2 showdown next weekend in Starkville. I think we get 2 of 3 this weekend. I'd love to see the rotation be CMac, Bednar, and Fristoe but my guess is Cerrantola will be moved to Sunday on a short lease and we'll see Fristoe early. If that's the case we need to pull out all the stops to win Games 1 and 2. A major key for us will be getting to their bullpen. Hill and Marceaux are top line SEC starters and we'll need to be patient at the plate and get their pitch counts up so that we can get to that bullpen.

I'll go 2-1. LSU can hit, but they don't have the pitching we do (nowhere close). Our bats will have to show up though. They did well Tuesday.

1-2, think our pitching comes back to earth somewhat

I'm hoping for 2-1 but not surprised if we go 1-2. So many variables. I think we are clearly better than LSU but we are close enough in certain areas that anything can happen.

We really don’t know much about LSU. They should be good. We better play things like they are top-5, even if they are ordinary

With Cerrantola and not Fristoe on the bump I'm hestitant in us taking 2-3. I hope he has a VERY SHORT LEASH on Cerrantola.

Really need MacLeod to have a good start.

2-1. Close loss Friday- wins Sat and Sun

1-2. Their Friday and Saturday guys are damn good. Marceaux has a era of 0. Hill not too far behind that. You take that into consideration along with our sticks and it could be a long weekend. Our guys on the bump better be damn good too because the coon asses can hit.
