2023 sec football schedule .. we have USC
-
USM the weekend before Ole Miss on Thanksgiving? Did Scott Stricklin make this schedule?
I do like the 8 home games even at the expense of a road game at Tulane. Especially since they just knocked off K-State.

I like November. It looks like the easiest we will have had in a long time. That means moving up in the polls late in the season is easier.

That schedule looks very favorable , especially compared to this years.

Georgia @ Auburn in September is weird.
And we haven't played Bammer in September in my lifetime. Since when? WW2? Ever?

To the best of my (shitty) recollection, it's always been late October to early/mid November.... and I'm Fiddy Tree...

Playing USM .... good. Playing USM that late .... meh. Not having a bye week Nov 18 when you stupidly insist on playing on a National holiday.... dumb.

The one benefit - I think I may take that whole week off, stay with my daughter and son-in-law, and go to both games. Makes my 11 hour drive worth it.

Alabama plays ole Miss the week before us, when ole miss was upsetting/damn near upsetting them between 2014-2016, they were all in mid september or late september.
Bama plays better as the season progresses so im glad we get them in september.
Hopefully we dont lose as much from this 2022 team as we have been told we are losing, I think we have more return on offense than expected but will lose almost all the defense.
-
Looks like a much more favorable schedule than this years, that's easy to say. Good to see umiss get the privilege of playing Bama and Georgia in the same year also.
-
No GA, LSU at home, 11-1!**** Read the 2023 schedule with my new set of maroon colored glasses. 2022 glasses already scratched up and blurry. Hail State!
-
If we beat USM and OM do we get another trophy?***

It’s about time. We will have played UGA three times after this year since Ole Miss has played them. We better see 3 matchups for them with UGA before we have to play UGA again

Have been saying this for years
Need to keep playing them early for a chance due to them"reloading".
Hopefully transfer portal helps with our defense
