So Cohen didn't want to have to clean up another mess he created.
He left before he could be sacked for a professional AD.
Cohen was told to be looking around.
It's funny to look back at these Cohen hires. His first hires (Moorhead, Lemonis, Penson) were unmitigated disasters. But his second hires (Mike, Purcell, and Jans) seem to be really great hires. I think it just goes to him learning how to be an AD. There's still some things that he is painfully unequipped at, marketing and fundraising, but he's getting better some of the bigger picture things.
I don't think he would've been fired when he had to make a move on Lemonis, but his seat would've definitely been warm.
