The above answer was based on that the CDC had already amended their 14 day recommendation. They haven't. So all bets are off. You really jumped the gun (so to speak) on this one.
Hell, our numb nut head of the Heath dept. wants to lock down again.
Actually the CDC has not even amended their 14 day recommendation as of yet. They plan too, but no actual date has been set when they will and how many days it will be. It sounds like possibly 7 days, but that's not a definite.

Mississippi won't do any more statewide orders. We didn't accomplish anything except maybe defer some covid cases until cold and flu season when our hospitals would normally be at capacity without COVID. What flu season? Have you seen how low the cases are this year? In the Southern Hemisphere flu cases were down 90%+ this year. I can’t imagine why the flu cases have mysteriously vanished this year. Anyone got a guess?Quote:
