We are last in fielding percentage, ERA, most Passed Balls, walks (we are at 158 - next team at 118), second in HBP, second in wild pitches, most stolen bases allowed (by a mile), and least double plays made. This is in all games, not just sec.
We are really good at not being good.
Hard to believe I would ever read those stat lines with Miss State baseball program.
Glad you point out defense. I think there's a group here that thinks pitching is the only problem. We are flat out horrible in 2/3 of the game, and we're just average hitting. Truly a terrible team
Bad pitching leads to bad fielding a lot of times - you can?t defend a walk and now there?s more pressure to make plays when you give out freebies - walks take a defense out of rhythmQuote:
