What do you base our offense being horrible on? Eye test? Do you watch many teams play? Just curious, bc...
Kenpom has our offense at #29 ( https://kenpom.com/index.php?s=RankAdjOE )
Our off efficiency is #20 ( https://www2.teamrankings.com/ncaa-b...more%20rows%20 )
2nd in sec in fg%
3rd in sec in 3-pt fg%
We were horrible last night, but I think we'll be fine

Ole Miss defended out to the 3 point line which spread out their D. We had very few guys slashing to the hole to create a mismatch, overall ball movement was slow. It seemed as if all the MSU guys were waiting for somebody else to get hot and carry the team. That #29 offense ranking from what I saw last night wont impress many going forward. Maybe the team was horrible. My question now is, is this simply a Howland thingy that the team can't overcome or what if the other SEC teams defend us like Kermit's team did and also use a big man on offense to open us up for wide open 3's from any spot on the floor.

At the end of the day, here is how I know Howland has to go. We lost, and I honestly did not care one bit. It’s not because I don’t love MSU, and it isn’t because I haven’t really been invested in MSU basketball before. It’s because we have a coach who has made it so incredibly boring and predictable that, until he is gone, you’ll continue to have this same apathy throughout our whole fan base. We need someone young, energetic, and whose offensive principles are within the last 20 years.

I know it was our rival at there place but we have way too much talent to lose like that. We were down by as much as 20 in that game
