Just a freak athlete and one of those nasty ends like MSU always have. Add Davis and boy trouble for the O.

Wheat will no doubt have a good season. I think the breakout candidate at LB is Bookie. He runs like a deer and hits like mac truck. I feel like he has the ability to blend the best of Matt Wells and BMac and be a special player for us.
I love Wheats power and athleticism. Not many teams have a player of his ability. Hope we use he and Davis appropriately.
There?s YouTube of Wheat playing basketball. Takes it length of court and two hand dunks over a player. He?s a freak athlete. He will play a long time in the nfl IMO.
Speaking of athleticism on D. I recently saw a video of Trevion Williams running the 100 meter. I haven't seen too many at 6'5 275 run like that.
Glad to see depth and experience in the front six. The young DL and LB will benefit from being in those rooms
That dang Wyatt knows some football, will he ever make it to the networks? I'd love to keep him at MSU, but he'd be a great ambassador at a higher level.
Jordan Davis being healthy will help Wheat as you can put them on opposite sides of each other and let them go. Can't double team both of them.
Don't be surprised if DeShawn Page is the breakout stat guy. He will replace Brule' easily in my opinion and we need that athletic LB who can cover and run down "space" plays. At times, our starting LBs will appear to be to slow in space for certain formations (Ole Miss game last year) and Page is the one who can solve that problem. He will likely also benefit from the pressure of the DL on the QB with sacks.
He could easily go 1st round. If Davis is what he was pre injury he is 1st round. Forbes could be first round as well.
