That was crushed, lol.
Throw him out. That tulane coach is a hot head.
What is with all they chippyness and crap with Tulane? They said something about the coaches got into it before the first game or something?
Good patient ab Rowdy. Dub moves them over Legget on 3rd Rowdy on 2nd. Need a big hit from Tanner.
Tanner strikes out on ball 4...strand runners at 2nd and 3rd.
Guess we gotta wait till the 9th to get some runs again.
Wind blowing out to RF but we have so many lefties in the lineup not sure we can take advantage of it.
First pitch bomb to start the 4th, lol.
Jeez, we can't let these chippy bitches beat us.
Koestler in for Fristoe.
0-8 with RISP, I believe?
Our offense is putrid
Well that doesn't help.
Now it's time for Rowdy to jack one. Jim said the Perimeter OFs are playing up with the CF playing deep. Hopefully he can get one to the fence.
Is there a word that's worse than "putrid"? Whatever it is would be appropriate.
1-3 in our lineup haven't even been competitive today.
It's sad that we get a guy on base, and I immediately start thinking of ways we'll screw it up. Leadoff man gets on for the third time in 5 innings and we do nothing with it.
We could use an improvement at hitting coach for sure.
There's a reason TA wasn't drafted. He just cannot hit left handed pitching. He's not even close.
Once again I’ll ask, who is coaching the hitting? I know Lemonis was his own hitting coach at Indiana. Whoever is doing it now needs to step back and let the other do it..
Well one of the announcers keeps talking about the lack of Bunting.
Yeah well our approach at the plate hasn't been good but it's not the coaching. We just don't have the hosses this year. Simple as that. I will say it's worse than I expected though.
Some of you guys need to be patient. We have 5 guys that can go yard any at bat. We have the best bottom part of the lineup I remember in quite some time. You guys need to realize that this is going on everywhere right now with good teams. It's gonna take a bit to get back in a normal rhythm, especially with so few fans in the stands.
Good to see a good bunt- versus a double play
Hancock is the early MVP for this team.
Maybe if Allen keeps struggling, move Hancock up. Sometimes a change of scenery can help you get going.
