Seems like Fickell will at least be in the top 3. Brian Kelly doing solid at ND helps that sell.
Maybe Urban Meyer does the Saban thing.
We mid about JoMo but if Oregon starts to run the table his name will come up.
If I'm USC Bill O'Brien makes a lot of sense to me right now barring what will be available from the NFL. He has been successful in college as a head coach, has a NFL background and being around Saban will give them the opportunity to update their program from an organizational standpoint.
Saw on Twitter where Mullen told a reporter he would be interested if he was approached. Now it also could be Sexton floating his usual “Mullen needs a raise” type thing…
There is no FBS school more arrogant and condescending to its fan base than USC. Before Pete Carroll, USC would have 38,000 attending a 94,000 seat venue in very populated Los Angeles. USC as an institution did nothing for football excellence, Pete Carroll did. The arrogant assholes that oversee the campus were jealous of Pete. The fans have observed this for many decades and are well versed in the status quo in Los Angeles. When you look at a rivalry between Miss St and Ole Miss, it is sports orientated. USC is so dirty, to its fan-base and community, in its own way that it would make Ole Miss misgivings look like church mice?
The biggest difference is the talent pool is infinitely better than Tennessee and it's not even close.[/QUOTE]
Point taken. Has the administration or booster network become that disorganized when it comes to recruiting, or has past glory obscured their view of what it takes to be competitive in the current college football landscape, not unlike what Coach Norm was saying?
This gives recruits optimism

USC. Easier competition, better pedigree, and believe it or not, Southern California is better than anything in the Southeast overall.
Sure you have to deal with taxes.
Sure you have to deal with regulations.
But overall, being a millionaire in Southern California is probably pretty damn nice. The weather is definitely better.
Nope...that train has left the station...or rather the plane left without Kiffin on it
