Remember the Saints Rams. Goodall hates 2 teams the Saints and the Cowboys. Oh yeah the dude just rambles for 8 mins, Worse than Rosebowl.
NFL Refs remind me of SEC Refs in their protection of certain teams.

Another YouTube to ponder?
I'll forever believe the Saints were "not supposed to go to SuperBowl LIII"
One ref (with ties to the California NFL teams) held his hand out at the other Ref like "don't you dare throw that flag"
Tommy Lewis was slammed well before the ball arrived. Screw the NFL and these idiot Referees.
I don't think the fix is in per se but there are definitely players who are protected and sometimes that does directly affect the outcome of a game.
I remember watching the Ravens vs the Patriots a long, long time ago. It was late in the game and the Ravens had a 3 point lead. The Patriots were around mid field I think and it was 4th down. Brady dropped back to pass and was just about to step and throw when a Raven broke loose from his block about 6 feet away and lunged at Brady. Brady side-stepped him and threw the ball which was either incomplete or caught short of the first down. Then, here comes the flag. They nailed the Raven lineman for ATTEMPTING a low hit on the QB. Since he was around 6 feet away and Brady was about to throw, he dived at him instead of running toward him. By the time he got to the spot and Brady side-stepped, the defender sailed by Brady's lower body without ever laying a finger on him. The bogus penalty led to a first down which led to a very late FG forcing OT and eventually a Patriot's victory.
