Nah, he was absolutely correct. Foxy wouldn't let him throw what he wanted to throw. He got his way and K'd the guy. Our pitching coach doesn't know his pitchers. It's a one damn size fits all deal with him.

He didn't literally say "17 off". That was my term for telling him he didn't know what he was doing. The guy has to know his pitchers. He doesn't. We made him the highest paid pitching coach in the country when we hired him. The guy sucks! Give me a pitcher that knows what he wants to do and is a bulldog about doing it. I've seen enough "follow the leader" pitching.
Make the move Lemo. Preferably TODAY. But before the midweek game at the latest or we'll be calling for your head also.

I agree but these are careers and dreams he?s screwing up/with - at some point someone had to step up and say, no, what you?re doing isn?t working- if I?m losing, I?m losing throwing what I?m comfortable throwing in that situation- these aren?t robots - honestly the pitchers and catchers should be calling their own game
Never thought I'd see the day we were out scored in baseball 55-15... at Dudy Noble. Wow.
It took 6 losses but the parameters have been set for Mississippi State to beat SEC teams.
They must pitch well enough to hold the opponent to 3 or less runs. Because as good our hitting is supposedly, the max number of runs to date was set today. State mustered 7 runs, but the average through 6 games is 3.75.
