Man, I'm trying to be optimistic, but it appears lemonis has destroyed our program
Pitches so far: FB was supposed to be low and away, he almost hit the batter. 2nd pitch: FB down the middle, lucky it was hooked foul. 3rd pitch" supposed to be low and away curve that he left chest hight down the middle for a homer. 4 straight balls. Now he works the count full and throws 92 right down the middle chest high for an easy single.

Can't even get out of the first without blowing up. There's just no one on this team who has it. We don't even compete. Well, at least I can turn it off and not torture myself now. I've got to go coach some 11 and 12 year olds this evening who can actually throw strikes anyway.
This team is so fundamentally unsound its ridiculous. Pitching sucks, missing cutoff men, passed balls, etc.
Junior high quality pitching starting on a Friday night for an SEC team.
This is really bad. Now Cade isn't even starting pitcher material. Time to put the freshmen in the weekend rotation & if Foxhall goes anywhere near them the next few years you chop his arms off.
If Cade is our best pitcher we need to be worried. He?s a good pitcher. But Friday night guy in the sec? I don?t think so.Quote:

Defensively, you have to blame Lemo entirely. From thinking Hancock could catch, to Clark not extending his leg on a slide, errors all over the place... after finishing 14th last year you'd think itt would be easy to get the guys pissed off and hungry to prove they dont' suck, but I guess not. We do not look focused or like we take this seriously
