What happened ?
Roll Tide!!!!
You answered your own question - he's the SEC leading scorer on the #1/2 team in the nation.
It's gonna get ugly for Oats if he doesn't sit Miller.
I’m not sure he did anything illegal (I could be wrong). But he was certainly wrong and both Oats and Byrne should be terminated for their handling of the situation. You have to have higher standards as an organization. That’s my opinion. You have to have a high standard,
With Will Wade gone Oats has grabbed the crown of the biggest POS in the league
Didn't it come out that oats and the team knew miles was having issues?
Knew he was having issues and knew he was about to kill someone is 2 different things.
Was it miller's gun?
He should have at least sat until investigation was over when they knew he was linked.
Win at all cost that is the Bama way. That is all that matters, period.
Intent is all that matters. If Miller knew in advance the gun would be used for murder, that's accessory to murder. But he's not going to admit that regardless of the truth. Otherwise, it's not illegal. Perhaps against code of conduct or team rules at bama, but not illegal by itself.
Not only did Miller provide the gun, he used his vehicle to block the victims vehicle before the shooting took place. He was at the scene of the crime.
This may be the most outrageous non-discipline I have ever seen of an athlete. Byrne is trash and not just because of this.
I would hope that if this ever happened here, the fans would stand up for justice. There is a mother of a 5 yr old now dead.
he's NBA ready
Can someone answer how you reach this point? Is street cred worth life in prison? In what shithole brain does this make any sense?
It's very hard to understand for most but yes, the street cred is more valuable than simply taking advantage of opportunity and simply acting as a reasonable person and guns are in fact a daily part of the equation. There are shithole brains all over
If we could answer that we'd probably solve all the inner city police issues nationwide in ten minutes. My first 2 guesses for this deceased girl are sex or drugs or both and then go from there. Situations such as these really make it clear why coaches must preach "family and unity" because many of these kids haven't had any of either growing up.
The only explanation is that the Tuscaloosa DA is angling for a 50yd line suite and center court floor tickets.
Read an article that Oats is catching it nationwide on twitter, as he reached out to Ray Lewis, of all people for advice on how to handle a situation like this. He is also issuing some awkward apologies over his remarks in this case as in, team is praying for young mother's family. What a slime ball.
