I could see TJ McCants being a possibility.
I know I am looking through Maroon Color glasses but anybody who played in our stadium, knowing there is NIL money available, with all the openings State will have on the roster, you know they have had to think about transferring to State.
Probably Ethan Groff from Tulane and the the pitcher from Miami of Ohio.
Neither of the McCants ever wanted to go to school. The only reason TJ made it to Ole Miss was because he was not drafted in 2020. He is draft eligible so I have a feeling he is gone. Also not a true outfielder so do not know how he could help us much.Quote:

I'm excited about any pitcher because that is what is going to make or break our team next season. I have confidence we can piece together a reasonably good lineup but without multiple quality transfers our pitching staff next year will be really bad again. I was at Trustmark all day yesterday. Saw Loftin pitch last night. Kid has a high ceiling. His stuff is excellent and has the frame to add more velo and get better. His command was not good last night and he got behind and had to groove fastballs and even at 93-94 good high school hitters will rake it and NWR can hit. ETA the Monistere kid from NWR was excellent on the mound. Fastball 90-93, good braking ball and good command. Going to usm.
