Nothing like a making a pitcher work for outs. I mean, the guy could've been better. He could've thrown two less pitches.
That is a lack of baseball intelligence plain and simple. 1st guy out on 1 pitch. 2nd guy out on 2 pitches. What should the 3rd guy do when his pitcher struggled in his inning? Take at least until 2 strikes. If I am a scout, that would be a red flag on Hancock for me. Protecting his pitcher apparently never crossed his mind.

Was one of the mound visits last inning an injury visit? They had 2 visits and didn't pull the pitcher.
We needed more than 2 runs out of 2nd/3rd with 0 outs, given the situation. Another missed opportunity.
