I think this is a great hire. They'll have a big time qb now commit/transfer
I’d wait for a more reliable source but their does seem to be some smoke there
He won't get to play a super soft schedule at LSU, rack up meaningless wins, and then lose in the semifinals in a spot he never really deserved. He'll have to step it up.
I'd wait for an NFL call if I were him.
If Myles and Orgeron can win titles, half this board could if they could assemble a good staff and give good speeches.
He’d be a good hire. Anyone with a pulse should be able to win at LSU. Ogre and Miles are not Mensa candidates.
That move really would take some balls considering Oklahoma will be moving to the sec. Be some real animosity going on.
Didn't he come out from under Leach
The flights from Norman to Baton Rouge and back making people believe there is real smoke to this is a coordinated effort from one of Oklahoma's richest alumni using their own private jet to troll the hell out of LSU for even having the audacity to think they could get Lincoln. This has been a coordinated troll.
Bert?
Napier to Florida is almost official as well.
Kiffin to Oklahoma
It's really hard to not win at LSU. I mean miles and O are average at very best and both won titles. He will do good there.
Napier is going to be that "hot" G5 coach that comes to a P5 school and falls flat on his face.
Give me the under on Riley. I've watched his teams play a lot and he will not make it long in this league if rumors are true. He plays to his competition weekly.
Apparently Riley isn't taking the LSU job. I thought it was a dumb move anyway with OK heading to the SEC.
Riley not taking lsu job.
I think Riley not taking LSU is a bad move.
I would rather have LSU's talent and resources when the change comes than Oklahoma's.
I think Oklahoma could have a very rough transition to the SEC.
Oklahoma gonna be ok, I think. Sec is starting to be an offensive league anyway now. They'll have big time qbs as long as Riley is there, and I expect them to get more quality defenders now that they're sec. I'm sure they're gonna really hit La and Mississippi now that they have sec to sell
All Kiffin's jobs are filling up... maybe he's happy where he's at?
Oklahoma is a very good job though. You can get to the NFL coaching there. They don't have Louisiana's per capita talent but they're not far from Dallas/Texas and they have a really good culture and resources. Now that they are going to the SEC I think it's a similar job to LSU.
