I pray we don't
Ha. No.
That's not even up for consideration. We're favored in the game.
Why would we?
This should have been posted in the "Dumb Idea of the Day" Thread.
Rushing the field for beating an above average UK team at home? That would be very embarrassing. I actually expect to win this game and then TSU. Any other win @ark @aub or ole miss would be more reason to celebrate
LOL.
If we rush the field on ANY of those games, we are in much worse shape than I thought. If, and even then I?m not sure, but, IF OM is 10-1 going into the EB AND is top 4-5, THEN and only then. I can?t say I support it, but I can understand that one circumstance
This is an odd thing to even say to me. Is there some reason to believe we might?
I hope my hand doesn't get chopped off today. Obviously, so does everyone, does it really need to be said? It just seems obvious and highly unlikely to warrant making its way into my prayers.
We haven't rushed the field since 2004. We didn't against Auburn in 2014, so the bar is high.
However, if beating Ole Miss puts us in the SEC Championship Game this year somehow, then we should and would.
For real. I don't want to take anything away from UK, because they are a good team and winning in an old school way. But they just got by bad Missouri and USCe teams. They have been very fortunate this year and the ball has bounced their way. If they weren't coming off a bye, I would actually be optimistic. I think an extra week to prepare for this offense is somewhat like an extra week to prepare for the option.
Rush them all! Fans deserve a piece of the pie lol.
What would make you even think tha?
No, its Kentucky. The only way is if we come back down 24 in the 4th quarter and get a pick six or a scoop and score as time expires to win 54-53. Then, because how awesome that would be, we would storm the field.
No, we are 10-2 vs UK, and they haven't beaten us on Scott Field since a 2008 missed FG and XP. We should act like a team that has won 10 of the last 12.
The Stadium is built in a way that makes it tough to rush the field. Your average older fan has easiest access, but they aren't going to start the mad rush. If anyone, it would be the students. The student section has a good 8 foot drop to get from the lower seats to field level. It's not a simple, let me hop over this waist high wall or bush. Even if the fans wanted to rush the field, it would be very unlikely from a pure logistics stand point.
"Act like you?ve been there before..." Vince Lombardi
If we do I will be boycotting state football until we have a new generation of students.
No, not for beating Kentucky. Win out and beat the Rebels in EB and then there would be a chance but only a slight chance.
I will rush if Mike eats a bag of Candy Corn during the game.
If Leach gives every body that rushes the field a 100lbs bag of M&Ms, I am game!
If the field is rushed it will be an embarrassing black eye.......why was this even posted.
