LSU got absolutely (and mercilessly) curb-stomped today....22-7......by Oral ****ing Roberts, lol.
Arkansas losing to Murry State 6-3 in the 5th.
Would love for McLeod to have a good start tonight. Really need him to find his mojo.
Welp... looks like a Coming To America 2 night for me...
Our staff of preseason Aces ... might be Harding, Fristoe, and Koestler by the LSU series
It's early (again I say, it's early), but our ace doesn't look like an ace.
Top of the 1st inning and we already had an error? Didn't get to see too much of it, but who was it on?
Has the increased allowed attendance taken effect? Doesn't look like any more in the stands than earlier this year.
Why does our stadium look so dark on tv for night games? Something to do with LED lights?
McLeod will be lucky to go 4 innings at this rate.
Should have been strike three on that curve ball. It looked better than a couple of others that the ump called strikes.
Imploding. Jeez. This is 3 starts in a row he has been non-Ace material. At what point does the sample size matter?
We are not respecting this opponent by leaving Macleod in there this long
Yes, it's early, but I would forget about the idea of "starters" in a traditional sense and go with "openers" like they are doing in MLB. We have 21-24 guys who can get outs. And we don't need 3 starters that have to go 6 innings.
Jesus Christ Macleod didn't even make it 2 full innings. We're gonna lose a lot of Friday games this year.
And the #2 guy in the rotation can't throw strikes. The Canadian.
Hmm...never seen that before. Wonder what Coach said to him. He didn't look pleased.
1 pitch from Smith and out of it. Good call.
We've got a problem on our hands.
Our "ace" isn't an ace. Cerantola can't throw strikes. Bednar is still injured.
The only thing saving us is the amount of quality arms we have behind them.
Something definitely not right with MacLeod. Other than the obvious (walks) the thing that concerns me is his velocity, or lack thereof. You would've thought he may have picked up a mile or two an hour on that fastball but it's actually the opposite. His velo is down.
Our hitting is abysmal...
Brandon Smith with a quick inning.
