Good one.
Brown has hardly been the disaster hire predicted
We have no chance of beating bama, lsu, etc.
We should focus on being at full strength that will prevent us from any shot at losing ut, ark, om.
Impressive.. likely will be way better than um vs bama.
unc up 14-7 and clemson slow in moving the ball.. almost halftime.
big 3rd down here.. 3rd and 5.
With Herm Edwards, Cutcliffe, & Brown, we could be seeing the tide turn in coaching hires.
Maybe we've innovated so much that the best hires in today's college football are the experienced guys that can teach fundamentals
Makes me wonder Schiano, Butch Davis, etc could be next to get jobs
It was sarcastic all around. There are those here who think it’s so impossible for us to win those games. And there are those who think it’s impossible for us to lose the other games. Both are wrong. My opinion is that it’s stupid to play to prevent upsets. If we play bad enough to get upset in those games then we have bigger issues than not having Gay / Autry. We’d have to have two bad upsets at this point along with losing every supposed to lose game to not make a bowl game.
With that thought, you get yourself in the best possible position to win the toughest games. Putting yourself in that position can lead to upsets.
Bama would destroy Clemson right now.
Wow, terrible play call by Mack
OU and anOSU have shown me nothing saying they won’t run the table 13-0. 3 SEC teams won’t get in without anOSU getting its patented 30 point loss.
Very dumb play throwing on 2nd and 1 instead of just getting the first down on the ground.
Don?t argue with him. He still thinks A&M is a threat in the west every year, even though the stats and track record prove otherwise. He has the headline mentality and never digs into any details. In another couple threads earlier I talked about who Auburn and A&M have played and Oregon and Clemson have not played anyone worth a shit outside of A&M or Auburn. The rest of the games are similar to playing schools for the deaf and blind. None of these teams are playoff caliber teams and have yet to play anyone other than each other.
Go dog into the stats of who each team has played outside of each other and look at opposition stats. Putrid stats which translate to people overhyping all of the 4 teams mentioned here.
Clemson's ahead by 1 TD with just over 5 minutes left. Even if they win, it'll be a close game against an unranked team (albeit a conference game and I suppose a rival). Will Alabama or Georgia move to #1 even with a bye week?
UNC driving with 1:46 left. Inside the 10 yard line.
Hopefully Carolina will go for 2
Hmm. UNC going for 2. Do'nt want an OT and I don't blame them.
TD UNC.
Going for 2
I think Clemson will win even if they get this or kick an extra point. Too much time
Dammit.
Right call though
Which is really my point. There are very few definite things in sports. Crazy happens - like UNC being on the verge of knocking off #1 and making them look like shit all day. You can't judge everything by statistics alone.
That, and I enjoy picking on you about A&M.
Oh well. It didn't work but ....
Just so dumb
