I know it's going to be hot (not as hot as Saturday, but still hot), but this is a very improved K-State team. To be completely honest with UK's QB out I am more worried about K-State. We are the more talented team but 11 am kickoffs tend to lessen a home field advantage. Also, I feel confident all of the blunders from this past Saturday will be fixed. I've been wrong before, but we will see....
It's not going to happen. 11am, hot as hell and an opponent that won't bring many fans. I imagine it'll be smaller than this past Saturday's crowd of 55K.Quote:

No way this past weekend was 55k. 40k at most.

11am kickoff does offer a little relief. The 2:30 kickoff Saturday was in the prime heat. The Kansas players will think they are running around in a 5lb wool blanket by the 4th quarter.
11am, the game being on ESPN, and the heat is going to kill the crowd. 45k actual crowd is my prediction
I almost passed out last Saturday, but will be there.
I'll be there. High up on lower east grandstand. That offers shade for the 1st quarter at least!

Game day management from the last game will probably cost us 4-5,000 fans from the next game. When people pay out the ass to come to games, they expect a little better than 2A high school game management.
Make sure you’re there, or you’ll be shamed for sure about MSU football not being the most important thing in your life and not wrapping your entire existence around trips to Starkville.Quote:

If K State was a night game I think we would have a good crowd and a good atmosphere. At 11:00 in the heat I think the crowd is going to be small and the atmosphere will be dead. Hopefully we can pull away from them and not need a lot of crowd support.
I had planned not to go to this game before the time was announced but I gave my tickets away so I wouldn't be responsible for empty seats.
Might as well get used to day games. I'm going +2

I?ll be there... luckily in the scoreboard club I can go inside and get an occasional break from the heat, but completely understand those not making the trip due to the temperature.
You never get any shade in the Scoreboard Club, nor do the students below you. Saturday, the seats were virtually empty there but I'm sure the inside was full. At least in most other areas of the stadium you eventually get a little shade (the big video board in the south end zone helps a lot for some seats).Quote:
