They threw 1 pass. It was incomplete. Got a defense holding call out of it though.
Army is a bunch of cheaters!
The color guy said a little bit ago "I wonder when a bottom tier P5 program will go to a system like Army?"
Paul Johnson just shrugged his shoulders somewhere.
There are few things in life as enjoyable to watch as a well-executed option offense.
Any theories on why it didn’t really work out for Johnson at GT?
I'd argue it did work out at GT for Johnson. He was there 11 years, won 11 twice, won 3 division titles, 1 ACC title, and was ACC COY 3 times while running a very unique offense. I got some good connections in the GT program and I'll tell you what I've heard. Great guy, great coach, but, he is also in his 60s, and didn't want to evolve the program in any way. Didn't want to promote, didn't want to recruit, and didn't want to fundraise - which continually put GT at a disadvantage. Most felt it was time.
This is fun to watch.
"Yeah, let's trick em and throw the ball while inside the opponent's 5."
Said no Army HC, ever, until now....
Shay Shay very average
A FG there was all they needed and got cute now we are tied.
And now harbaugh makes his own mistake lol can't stand the guy
Army would destroy us offensively. 4-7 yards each snap
That's the first targeting call I've seen all year.
Wow. Let’s go Army
Army stuffs them on 4th down again!
No way Michigan is a Top 10 team.
Let's hope the Army FG kicker gets his first attempt. What an ending to the game. At worst, it'll be OT.
Going to OT. Nice attempt by the plebe.
Michigan is still trying to live life as an elite program and they just are not any longer. The media does everything they can to pump up the old blue bloods, but it is a sham these days.
Army TD LETS GO
Go army!
Damn.
Too bad it turned out the way it did, but it's obvious Michigan isn't Top 10. They're probably around 20 or so.
