It's getting deeper and deeper
ESPN says calls typically lasted less than 2 minutes. Pastor hugh knew the drill...."Deluxe package with Tiffany, 11:45 pm, Hilton North End, arm 1069."
UM attorney jolly says "any calls not related to UM business are not considered public record." Think again. Solicitation of prostitution from state phone to arrange consummation of illegal sex acts in lodging made available and paid for by the State, an arm thereof, or a quasi-public entity. Ain't nothing about that private.

They can do a remake in Oxford

Has anyone asked for the Flight Records on N1UM..... OM owned airplane-- flight records are BLOCKED-- at the REQUEST of the owner.
What the hell are they hiding?
Maybe an ethics request in is order here.....
Wonder what Freeze paid for someone to redact all these calls?
Does he get a refund?
I'd be furious if I paid to have calls redacted only for them to miss this many.
why is everyone just now catching up to day 1 of his "resignation" when "a pattern of misbehavior" was mentioned by Bjork?
He would have saved millions with some smart phone porn and KY jelly.
I am an idiot
I'm sure it's been said on here, but the attorney Bo has on his show occasionally was on a few days ago. His interpretation of the statute makes it clear that the phone, wether paid for by the foundation or UM or me, was used for state business; therefore, no expectation of privacy on any calls he made on the device. I bet as soon as it's litigated, if not before, we get the redacted records. Who knows how long it takes though.
Edit: sorry Mimi, basically the same thing u posted earlier in the thread. I'm with you, they will be released eventually. Umiss has to keep trying.... to stay redacted....
When everybody said IT was coming, who knew IT was Hugh Freeze? And so frequently..
Also who decides what gets redacted? He would have to be a moron to not redact calls that were NCAA violations.

why would a guy making 5 mil a year use a university issued cell phone that is subject to FOIA .... for no money at all he could have unlimited long distance / texting that would require a subpoena to access his personal records ... makes no sense but it is what it is
IT has arrived ... let the party begin

I believe the stories of the past week have all been UNM plants. They are spinning that it was just the Rev Freeze "hooking" up. Nothing to see here, move along. The stories damage Freeze, but the only way it reflects badly on UNM is that either a their compliance did not catch it or b) they were fine with his lifestyle until it became public. Either or both of those are minor compared to what I believe the truth of his unredacted phone records would reveal.
It might be why they are fighting tooth and nail to keep those records from being released. Hugh seemed to have a blatant disregard for the rules and he seems oblivious to the consequences. If he really is calling UM coaches about coaching with him later then he really doesn't think he is getting a show clause.
It has to be something like this for them to be fighting so hard to bury those phone records. I mean if all those phone calls show is freeze calling escorts there would be no reason to keep those hidden. Theyve already said they found a disturbing pattern in his phone records so why fight so hard to keep them hidden? Has to be something worse than freeze calling hookers. I think you're right!
Remember that scene in Goodfellas where Henry tells the girl at the house to not use the house phone. Go across the street and use the pay phone. What does she do? She hangs up and uses the house phone anyway.
That's Freeze using his phone for everything. Because it was easy and he's an arrogant dumbass. I'm sure he called some whales about money and recruits and they were like "Damn Hugh, I told you not to call me! Go through <enter lesser booster's name here>!
or maybe it's because they (escort service) have already qualified the phone number as ok and authentic (kinda like Dominos pizza where they already know who you are by the caller ID) ... seems like a new phone number would have to go through some type of vetting before agreements could be arraigned given that type of business, and therefore no pay phones or burner phones could be used ... just a theory
