It was nice.
Said no one has told him to be quiet. If you're a good person and not involved in improprieties, you don't have to go around telling everyone about it. Also Said "Some people had advance notice of the Leo and Kobe lawsuit coming out, so let me repay that. I know some people too. Some people in Lafayette county may find themselves on the other end of legal proceedings. Some people may want to update their resumes. The ones who have been wrong every step of way, the cowards, may find themselves in it. There is stuff that has been discovered that hasn't come out yet. When it does, gonna be bad for people that are think they're important ole miss people."
The quoted is paraphrased
Somebody getting scorched. Whoo hoo hoo
I've come to grips with the fact that, due to OM fighting and lying for every inch, this will go on for years and destroy their program for longer than ever thought possible.
They need research the idea and application of "sunk cost"
Is he hinting that the Chuck and Yancy types may have some trouble in regards to leaking Leo & Kobe's names? That's my best guess based on zero inside info.
Whoever at Ole Miss gave them those names is the one who should be worried, VERY worried. That isn't a civil suite thing, it's federal criminal law. It also carries some extremely adverse consequences for the university. If FERPA applies somebody is in big trouble.
It at least sounded to me like Freeze is involved. The reference of the 2013 Freeze tweet language about "not disparaging these young men or their families". I'm just guessing, obviously, and may be reading too much into what Steve said. Looking forward to finding out.
FERPA applies only to educational records. As I understand the law, I do not think it prohibits the release of a student's name in relation to something not specifically connected to their educational record.
So, the question becomes...is any testimony provided to the NCAA investigative branch as it relates to potential recruiting violations considered part of that student's "educational record"? If yes, then they are in potentially big legal trouble. If not, then they may not be in legal trouble, but have still most likely pissed off the NCAA even more.
Sounds like Freezus might just get his wings clipped and fall into the BIG hypocrite bucket.
They better wrap the trunks in the Grove with metal to protect them once this hits.
Rosebowl said on Boneyard, that some people in Lafayette Co. may be dodging process servers today, sounds like a counter suit to me or a lawsuit against the people who released the name.
Need to use stainless steel or some other hard metal as opposed to something soft like aluminum. I once had trouble with squirrels in my attic and used some sheet aluminum to cover the hole. The squirrels chewed right through it. Changed to stainless and they couldn't get past that. And a beaver has a much stronger bite and teeth than a squirrel, so they'd really need to protect those trees with some good stuff. ;)
Riverview casino (the old Isle of Capri) has a cool owl robot under the porte cache, his head turns from side to side pretty quick and it makes owl sound and does this on an irregular basis, I am sure this owl was expensive. Unfortunately the birds have gotten used to it, I saw a crow the other day trying to fornicate it.
Don't SLANDER these young men and their families....(quote by HF several years ago). It has the appearance that these words are about to BITE someone/several someones in the backside.....
I really liked what Steve said that when you care about someone -- you do what is right by them in secret....
"Mistakes were MADE" is about to bite their asses also. Deliberate, malicious acts = SLANDER, Defamation of character etc.....
The true test of a man's character is WHAT is done when NO ONE is watching..... (copied words from Steve today.)
OM is throwing the towel now at Bama..... OMgoodness....
They cannot just STOP....... on another "Fanside" you will find an article entitled: Will Bama end the NCAA case against tcun.....
The article is calling out Bama for cheating......
On the eighth day God created Alabama football. Apparently on the ninth day Alabama football began cheating. If everybody does it then Bama has perfected it. To hear Bama fans tell it, they don’t have to cheat. However they have been caught before, although not recently. No they’ve become very adept at avoiding the wrath of the NCAA. (copied)
I hung a plastic owl in a tree in the front yard. Killed two turtle doves and three small birds the first week. I guess they were cruising in and veered off to dodge the owl and went head first into the house. Sure helped keep the birds from roosting in the tree and having shitbird crap all over the sidewalk.
Talked to a friend with more connections than me. This may be about Nutt filing a lawsuit against OM.
If true this isnt that big of a bombshell to me. I'd like to be wrong. What say ye?
go big or go home***
