I think a series loss would certainly really cloud the hosting picture for the Bulldogs, but if they win the series over LSU (which I lean MSU this weekend), I think you have to give State a host site. What will be interesting to me is to see if State can go on a run in the SEC tournament and get back into the national seed discussion. I'd lean no, but never say never.
I think losing to Troy would hurt us pretty badly. But I also think 19 SEC wins are hard to overlook. I think the committee would look at the 19 SEC wins and give us a bid. We also have some good wins OOC over Ole Miss and Texas Tech and then two over South Alabama.Quote:
