March Madness is in full swing this weekend. No plans for me so I'm not sure what my contribution will be this week.

Amerigo double thick cedar plank pork chop and grilled veggies. Followed by the butter crunch cake for dessert. Had a Simi Chardonnay then Four Roses single with dessert. At home watching NCAA and cracked open the Belle Meade bourbon. Good times.
My grandpa won an electric smoker at a NWTF banquet in February. I was the lucky grandchild that got it. Had to break it in last night. Some hash browns and smoked wild hog sausage this morning with Schlaflys coffee stout beer. Rib tips and chicken wings for tonight with some Titos.
Wife's been on a health kick so we did boiled egg whites stuffed/topped with saut?ed mushrooms, kale, and onions. Topped with slice of bacon and some shredded cheese.
Been reading about mayonnaise marinades for steaks. So I'm gonna try with a strip tonite. Sriracha, worcestshire, seasonings and mayo mixed then slather on steak. Some sweetwater brew then the wine about tip off of hoops.
Did Saturday night mass and cast iron seared filets. Mashed taters, mushrooms, and green beans. My Photobucket app says it's upgrading my media (wtf?) so no pics tonight. Sleeping in as much as I can tomorrow
We ate out last night and tonight. Tomorrow I'm gonna do a fish fry. Drinking bourbon tonight (Angel's Envy).

Cheese fritters, pasta and tiramisu at Amerigo tonight. Followed by Eagle Rare and watching basketball/a very enjoyable bulldog baseball game.
Indoor. Slight hijack. My wife threw some baby backs in the crock pot marinated in vinegar, honey, and barbecue sauce. Sprinkle with a touch of salt and garlic powder. Had to use a fork.
Pre dinner: Bigfoot and Old Chubb: Dinner: Pork Chops, chicken, andouille sausage, and asparagus on the grill with a baked potato and a cheap (have to do it sometimes) chard. After dinner: Caol Isla and a Mississippi Fire Ant from Southern Prohibition.
Hmm. Mayo is basically just oil and egg yolk. Sounds like the thinking is the thickness of the mayo has it stick to the meat longer before the heat of the grill melts it off. In theory it should work. Maybe dry season the steak and then "lock it in" mayo. Was that the method?

With my mom at the hospital so I dined on the finest fare Sonic had to offer. Breaded steak sandwich and onion rings.

Took off tomorrow. Doing Memphis style ribs on the BGE with New Belgium 1554 black lager. Should be ready to eat about 4th qtr. I almost always do dry ribs, but I'm really caking that shit on today and making a vinegar mop. Just pulled out of fridge with rub on for ~6 hours. Will sprinkle more rub when done.
