Dude in CA is saying that there aren't enough season tickets to go around for everyone that wants them. Those who ARE fortunate enough to have them should have a backup plan so that they are USED for every game.
High school kids in the Golden triangle, people with children, or hell maybe even donate them to the Palmer Home or to Boys and Girls club.
There's a responsibility that comes with being a season ticket holder and not all of us are lucky enough to live close enough to have that luxury.

There are enough starkville/Columbus area people to basically fill the Hump on a Monday night. Or even just give them to a student organization on campus so that students fill the lower seats. If you miss a game or two, not that big of a deal, but if you live two or three hours away and buy tickets knowing you won't be using a lot of the weekday games, it seems like it wouldn't take a lot of effort to get them used. The people buying those tickets are already doing a lot for state; they're certainly not required to do more but it seems like they would be the type of people that would want to.Quote:

This argument has gone on for sometime, and it seems that the only people not liking it are the ones that were getting the free ride, I have several friends that got shook up about it, but realized what they could do about it and started contributing again.
For many years our fans thought that buying season tickets was all they had to do, now with the premiums on seats and marketing for the BDC which have greatly increased giving , (winning also helped) our facilities are pretty well on an even par with the rest of the conference.
