I went off and forgot to bring my radio to work today so I'll be relying largely on the thread to keep up with the game.

If Bears lose and only get 3 hits or so it makes the fishy factor really go up in my opinion.

To be fair, they were up against a stud pitcher, but still, they got 1-hit. As good as this guy is, he averaged giving up 5 hits a game. Ole Miss is supposed to be one of the better hitting teams, right? You'd expect them to get north of 5 hits in 9 innings, certainly not just 1. Yes, it can happen, but has happened in the CWS just 4 times since moving to aluminum bats. And this is the first time in something like 3 decades.

Baseball is the downfall of American youth. Telling kids that succeeding 30% of the time is considered a good thing? What kind of precident does this set for kids outside of the baseball field? Plus illegal immigrants are the only reason people watch baseball anymore!

TT got a one out double but that was it. Btm 1st 0-0.

If they can get to Trent early they can start the bus. Hope they checked out of their hotel before coming to the park. Don't want to have to pay for that extra day that's not needed.

TT is at least consistent. Another one out hit. This one a single but he is left stranded at first. Thanks, in part, to a sac bunt attempt that was popped out to the pitcher. Heading Btm 3 still 0-0.

Farva definitely needed to slide to get to the bag before the runner at 1st.

Tech is hitting the ball, they just need to get some guys home.

this guy for TT reminds me a lot of kendall graveman

I'm following the game on ESPN gamecast and if their pitch track is correct teh TT pitcher seems to be really keeping the ball down in the zone.
