TOOKIE Brown out of Georgia
270?? Damn
Elijah's Dad says he's a really good pickup. Anybody know much about him? Other offers?
5'11", 180 lbs per 247. Looks like he visited TN and had some interest from Bama, Miami, Butler and a few others but no other offers yet.
He's a good player, but small. Last thing I wanted to see was another sub-6'0 guard
real good pick up!
Good player and helps with the LOADED 2016 Georgia class.
I don't get paid the big bucks, but I feel like we need to be less focused on guards and more focused on guys who can play in the paint. If he can knock down any shot on the floor, that's a different story... but at 5'10'' that won't really matter if 1 of 3 shots is getting swatted. When this guy gets to campus we'll have 3 scholarship PG's.
We'll add Ndoye and Black next year, and Daniels and Houston have good size as well. Then we have Strugg for 2015. It's being addressed.
This is an interesting commit. Seems like a solid player but numbers are already getting tight. We may not sign anyone else for this year, so we'll carry an extra scholarship into next year. Then Roquez and Bloodman are seniors, so we're already technically full for 2015. We'll probably have at least one more defection, but we're still in it for more than just Newman.
Dante Scott could see his spot go if he isn't even playing right now.
Next year we'll have Ware, Daniels, NDoye, and Black for the paint. Plus Houston and Roq Johnson who can play the 4 for a few mins here and there.
I don't think Daniels will play in the paint much. Ray said he's a shooter more than anything, which is great for us.
BTW, anybody know anything about the Future150 recruiting site? 247 uses some of their guys for their crystal balls...and their rankings seem legit overall. Well, they have Dante Scott #71 overall and Tookie Brown 91 for 2015.
Looks like he's a good scorer. He's #7 in GA in points this year at 25.6 a game. Can shoot the 3 too.

5'10, 270 is how Thick likes his women
Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray has landed another commitment for his 2015 class.
Madison, Ga., point guard Tookie Brown pledged his services to the Bulldogs Sunday afternoon choosing MSU over interest from Clemson, Miami, Virginia, Alabama, Butler and Georgia.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is averaging 25.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game this season for Morgan County.
Brown is the Bulldogs third commitment for 2015 joining three-star prospects Jospeh Strugg and Dante Scott.

A 5'10" 270 pound baller named "Tookie". Is this a new Disney feature?
He'll get more offers this summer. He's pretty good.
