That's a cool image that shows what Dak was able to accomplish, but Lynch has more than 2x as many rushing yards, and the 1900/800 numbers are obviously cherry-picked to get Dak included. Those aren't important numbers at all. Next year, there will be no cherry picking.
That came from Kyle Nibblet, it's the job of the MSU Athletic Department to campaign for its players so I see nothing wrong with "cherry picking" stats to put a player in the good light. Jordan Lynch was also in a smaller conference and started twice as many games as Dak.Quote:

Of course they're cherry-picked, but 1) it's still factual and 2) this is what every sports media outlet anywhere does when they want to pump up an individual, so I see no issue with it.
You always see things like, 'This is the list of guys who have put up lines with 47+ points, 14+ rebounds, and 17+ assists in a game'. And inevitably, whoever they're highlighting has the weakest numbers on the list because that's how it works. They pick the lowest possible point at which the highlighted player would qualify.
So I say we do it, too. The more publicity we can get for him, the better it will be for us in so many ways.
We've never been able to attract big-time QB recruits in large part because we've never had any QB, in our entire history, that anybody knew anything about. It's time to change that.
