A very good defense. Like extremely physical and fast. It will be by far the toughest test the ole miss offense has faced this season. Not sure if Oklahoma can score enough to win unless they just commit to the run.

I think we have a better chance than we did of beating Florida. But now I'm worried about the team. Have they quit after yesterday? I'm think that loss took a lot out of them. Hopefully Lebby can keep them bought in.

They didn?t quit on them last year thru all that. I think they are way tougher than some here want to think.

I would rather Texas be coming off a win where they looked great. I expect them to really focus and play well after last week.

Texas lays a turd vs Florida. Next week they dominate Oklahoma.

Last week they were terrible. Let's hope they don't give us the Oklahoma effort

They were not going to overlook Oklahoma. Losing to Florida just gave them extra juice that week.

If Stoops had a better QB than Calzada they would have won.

Arch may put up Heisman numbers against us but Vegas doesn?t think so.

It's their defense that concerns me. They're 3rd nationally in scoring D and 12th in total D. We haven't faced anyone close to that. Arizona st and aTm are the only top top 40 total D we have faced. They're 36 and 37th.

Well I'm one of them. But i've won with State this year and the "better" team in the state has sucked at the spread. Oh Yeah Wash State and lately UCLA have been covering.

I won 5k on us covering against the Gators. I am going to double down on that this week to cover against Texas. I feel really good about this game to win I don't know why since we have a dumbass coach but I do.

They were bad against OK offensively. They had a special teams TD and OK threw them the ball 3 times. They were plus 3 in turnovers.
Now they were great defensively and have been elite all year there.

Conservative on offense is a better description. They ran for 136 on the 3rd ranked run defense nationally (80.43 allowed a game). Arch put up an 88.1 qbr rating by being efficient and moving the chains with his legs.

Our run D is 98th nationally. If they run even close to that level Saturday, we have no shot

ETA... the good news is Texas has been awful running the ball in conference except the Oklahoma game. Can't let them run the ball.

Wife and I are headed to Starkville Friday afternoon, so looking for recs for Friday night dinner and then game (baseball or football or whatever is on) watch. Saturday pre-game and then post-game late night game watching/food.

Staying at the Hampton Inn which appears to be an easy walk into campus and the stadium.
