UF fired Napier after beating us

that is how low of an impact of beating us is to the rest of the league. We were the worst team in the league last year and while we have shown some improvement are still a long way from being anything but the bottom dweller. Lebby has 1 more year and then we need to clean house, in the age of NIL there is no excuse for the continued offensive incompetence that we display weekly, either get some help from the portal, HIRE competent coaches or forever be happy with o-fer in the SEC. We will be 0-8 in the SEC this year and unless major changes are made no better next year.

Anyone saying that we were one play or so away from winning needs to remember what Mora Sr, said coulda, woulda, shoulda it still aint winning and we need a staff that can identify talent and put them in a situation to win, we don't have that by any stretch of the imagination on the offensive side of the ball.

We celebrating keeping it close here, while they firing the winner.

They said he was done Sunday no matter the result. He’s been there long to realize that he ain’t it. And they recruit well. Pretty simple.

It was posted on here in a thread 6 days ago that this was happening regardless of the result of our game because Florida bye week is upcoming.

On a related note, our fanbase has zero emotional intelligence or perspective.

99% of coaches would know don't throw the ball when you're that close and time is running out. Just run the ball, use up the clock, and kick the field goal to win the game. Terrible decision by Lebby.

He just overthought the situation. He was going for the kill shot and his QB screwed up. He should have told Blake that if your receiver is not wide ass open to throw it away. Then we could run it, center it, and spike it.

Florida fans are livid that it was this close in The Swamp. To them it should have never been this close.

Billy is in year four, an experienced coach with a previous head coaching stint, and still can't getting going.

Lebby is in year two of being a head coach at any level and the jump between year one and two is already impressive.

I think James Franklin will be the new head coach at Florida.

The head Coach called it and is responsible for it all the way. Just like he is responsible for running a QB out there that has cost us 2 games. Shapen should have handed the ball of in the UT game. Just like last night. Shapen is not a playmaker or game manager. Just and ok college QB.

This quote says more about the suckitude of Arnett rather than the coaching ability (or lack thereof) of Lebby. We are definitely better than last year, but we still are the bottom dwellers and look to remain that way for at least another year.

I'm sure our kicker already missing one from shorter distance played into things.

That's true. And you don't expect a veteran QB to 17 it up so horrifically. Folks saying we would be 6-1 if not for Lebby are misguided. The average talent is responsible too.

WR was open but when you underthrow the ball 20 yards to a 300lb DL it doesn't really matter. Lebby got to coach better and Blake got to play better.

Yeah, Blake gave UT 2 TDs and UF the game so yeah some blame goes around. Lebby got to coach better. If you know your players you coach around their weaknesses. Lebby ain't. Shapen is a sack machine and we still set him up to fail.

I'll say it again, our average talent is two Ferry FG away from 6-1 or if Shapen don't give two games away. We are real close. Also the injuries are huge. I can't think of another team with more impactful injuries than us this year.

I'm 100% fine with criticism. Calling for a coaching change tho is insane. When you fund the football program at the bottom of the SEC- you get bottom of the SEC results.

TTech was one of the biggest spenders in NIL and they are having a very good season. I see all this "you can rebuild your team in 1 season now with the portal". Well, thats true if you are spending money. If you dont spend the money, you arent rebuilding with what you need.

You want to win in football? Inject another $10MM per to the program. Write checks. Otherwise we will keep having to work our ass off to get to 6 wins

I want a sec win, one. I wanna see Lebby pull it off, and if he goes 0 for 16, then hell yeah i want him gone. If demanding my coach has a 1-15 (.063) record after 2 seasons is unreasonable, then I don't wanna be reasonable

Idk who we is but no one with a brain stem expected or should tolerate 0-8 again. Shapen has looked like shit in every game, with rare moments except USM.
