Headed for food. Didnt eat before I left the house.
Thanks Dude.
Hate Reece is hurt but it does allow the coaches to get other guys in and really eval to help the roster
Like I said, it looked like a first scrimmage.
Lots of balls in the dirt. Even fastballs.
Wyers, who I mistakenly thought was Sanders, made two outstanding plays at SS but then let a bouncer go under his glove as he was charging. May have been one of those bang-bang plays at first even if he had fielded it but it was an error.
We fouled off a lot of pitches and pitchers typically went deep into the count. Especially McPhereson.
We had a lot of stolen bases. I really didn't pay attention if they were stolen on the pitcher or the catcher. But, most were on 58 foot pitches so that explains a lot of them.
Concessions weren't open but the coolers were still stocked with beer, water and energy drinks. Since my college days are long gone and I really don't drink anymore, how long does beer last in a fridge? Just wondering if that is the same stock that has been in there since the season ended and will still be in there when it starts back.
Is that Maddox Miller that pitched? Interested to see what he does; he wasn’t the highest rated P that we signed (probably b/c he doesn’t throw 95) but he has had a very good change up since 10th grade or earlier. IHis dad pitched in the Majors for awhile, so that is a help.
