I highly doubt it. They have a built in advantage of being a national brand. Therefore, their QB can get 6-7 figure national brand deals that won't eat into their rev share numbers. There's also a bunch of money in and around Austin that they can use to their advantage. For example, Austin has a Lamborghini dealership. They can give 5 skill players lamborghini leases as well as some walking around money to do autograph signings, tweets, etc.Quote:

I doubt it, but... all the blue bloods may take a step back because anyone can buy a player these days. All it takes is a Billionaire that wants it to happen. Texas Tech for instance is spending big time and will have a roster full of highly paid players shortly that is not going to Texas. They were discussing the issue of the NIL rules. It came out that one team told it's players verbally that whatever they were getting now was subject to changing depending on how much other teams were breaking the new rules. If everyone follows them, so will they, but if others aren't then they will be prepared for that as well.
