Guys, does anyone else see what?s happening with our baseball program?. Like this is no small deal. We are going one thousand percent all in. A huge nil contribution came in already and another one is coming next week. We hired the best coach in baseball. And we have the Carnegie Hall at the dude!! Man, it?s about to be fun!!
Yeah, I think so. At this point, if O'Connor retires without multiple national championships, and more trips to Omaha than years where we don't make it, that's a disappointment.
He'd better start hitting some homeruns in the portal if that's the case.........Still two more weeks left until it closes so we'll see what happens.........

We?re Back! Looking forward to this NEW staff! I don?t know the solution but for the eyes watching on tv please fix the empty seats in prime areas of the Dude. It is a bad look on tv to have thousands of empty seats in prime areas. Especially true for SEC weekends.
Also for those in triple crown club area please show some enthusiasm. Most act like they are at church on Sunday morning.

We still have problems in recruiting with small town StarkVegas and being in Mississippi- but money is no longer an issue. We have eliminated the Big Boys buying guys from us. And to our "crowds" peeps- it doesnt help a whole lot to attract recruits- but it does help a whole lot in keeping players.
BOC is gonna have to change a little in that he has to be a big portal guy this offseason and next offseason as he builds recruiting classes- so I'm interested to see how he does there.

I think he knows what he has to do in the portal. Don?t think he had the support to really be competitive much less successful in the portal. If you can recruit, and you have the resources with the facilities, Starkville is not going to be the problem the majority of the time. Now a days, we should leverage small town with safety and security as a strength.

I don’t think our basketball supporters have near as much money as our baseball supporters. At least it doesn’t appear that way. And our football boosters are clearly much poorer than our baseball guys . Of course, it takes a lot more for footballQuote:

The reality though is that we will never win a Natty or even compete for one in football. Especially with NIL and transfers. Just try to win 7 games per year, which will be a huge struggle.

If we were having that same success it should make the playing field more even financially. People are not putting money into a product that is going 2-10. If we could at least get some 6-6 or 7 win seasons I think the money would increase. For Ark it is similar to us it?s a coaching issue and fan support. UK will always only care about basketball so I see them always being down with Vandy because of it moving forward.
