Signs with OM out of HS, they fire Kermit, he ends up coming to us and then goes on to be a top scorer in the SEC that'll likely be here 4 years.
No he won't go pro, but he's a really fun college basketball player that is nationally known.

bowers didn't come in as a difference maker that hubbard did. but bowers could play defense and was the ultimate gamer.
Hubbard improved his offensive game alot by developing ways to score inside the 3 pt line.
He remains a defensive liability tho
Two totally different players who both play different games. Not a good comparison and to be honest we've never had a guy comparable to Hubbard
And I wish he would dive more. Yes he will get fouled more but dam it seems he is a 90% FT shooter which is a huge asset that needs to be used more.Quote:

00 could defend for a shorter guy. He was physical and didnt get beat off the dribble that often. 00 to me was still the better overall player. If Williams would have let 00 shoot like we do with Hubb- he may have averaged 25 a gameQuote:
