Wonder why having to wait two years to start.
Based on them saying that the architects are working on "design concepts" currently, that means they haven't done actual building plans yet. So 12-14 months to design; 3-6 months to procure and contract construction; and you are already in late 2026. Even if you can shave 2-3 months from the process, you probably don't want to start until after the season is done in '26.
Thank you to the Howard family for investing in State football. NOTHING is more important right now.
Should just take that $60 mill and buy a natty in 2026
I really encourage everyone to watch this video to appreciate what the Howard family means to our athletic program and school.

i recently signed a commitment to endowment scholarships.... These Howards are raising the bar.
Edit: great video on the Howard family. That is really good!
Are we allowed to still be mad at Selmon or do we have to admit he?s actually doing a decent job?**
I “was” not happy with Selmon in his first years. He now is starting to good things. My opinion is still low until he hires a baseball coach. Screw up this hire and I will be back on my soap box about what a bad AD he is.
Yeah this is everything us more mature folks want to see things. Respect, honor and love for your school, not this crap we see today. Very few playing will recognize and appreciate what they have done for MSU. I can get behind a school, a program, a team and players with that kind of character.
And what about going to eng lab 30 min before game kickoff? They would cry abuse today for something like that.
Sorry but the best generations are behind us. God bless them.
But coach say we poor
Look, this is the way the Howard family wants to spend their money and help MSU. I am happy they did it. Now some of you can help a player buy a new gold chain with your contribution.
One thing I really like here is the focus on biomechanics and sports science.
I remember back in the 1990's we had Mike Grant who I think was a little ahead of his time with S&C and did the Navy Seal stuff with the team as well as the Iron Dawgs posters and stuff.
It did get watered down at the end when Jackie lost control but between 1996-2000 our team was probably in the best shape of any team in the league. I remember we played Alabama in 1998 and we just looked bigger and stronger than them- and we kicked their ass that day.
Point is we need to be ahead of the curve if we want to win in this league.
I don't understand why folks are complaining about adding LED lights. As I recall it has been many complaining about our "outdated" lighting system. Even though there are only a few games it saves big time money when they are on plus the future cost would be way more! We ain't buying many 4 or 5 stars in football anyway. We have come a long way since the LT cheap days!
