Damn...
No way....
I completely forgot he had cancer.
in maverick, Which I enjoyed way more than the 1st one, his voice was AI generated. Enjoyed him in Tombstone, Best Doc holiday, and in where he played the nerd in Real /genius and Jim Morrison.
It's a travesty for the Academy that he did not even receive a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Doc. Tommy Lee Jones won it that year for The Fugitive. Nobody walks around quoting TLJ's character like they do Val's Doc.
His best role was Doc Holiday in Tombstone. He was the star in that movie IMO. Some of best lines of the movie.
He was not a favorite with the hollywood elites because he told them to kiss his ass without saying it.
He was a great actor who was very good in Top Gun and The Doors also. His role in Tombstone was iconic. It was like Brando in The Godfather or Crowe in Gladiator. What was different for him was he was not the lead actor. His performance was greatness in a supporting role like Pesci in Goodfellas
“indeed you’re a good woman......but then again you may be the anti Christ......”
Apparently Ringo is an educated man...how i really hate him.
Why Johnny Ringo, You Look Like Somebody Just Walked Over Your Grave.
I'm your huckle bearer. Why, that's just my game.
Say when...
Barber, proceed sir.
Damn I loved that movie.
At work all the time, I say, "it's like playing cards with my brothers kids"!!!!
Johnny Ringo: My fight's not with you, Holliday.
Doc Holliday: I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. "Play For Blood" - remember?
Johnny Ringo: Oh that. I was just foolin' about.
Doc Holliday: I wasn't.
"I know let's have a spelling contest"/

Doc with the wink at the OK Corral to set off the gun fight.
I also loved “Blood in the streets”......with all people 50cent, fidycent or whatever he goes by and Sharon Stone.. About Nawlins after the flood.......Val does his best southern accent.
I forgot about this one - the Isle of Dr. Moreau. Pretty good movie.
Agree I saw it in theater as well and thought it sucked. After watching several more times later it was better than I thought. Kinda like Groundhog Day was for me too.
It hit at some deeper things about life but had a spooky feeling to it like something like that could happen.
