Glad State isn't playing Vandy this year
Hiring a head coach in the SEC without any SEC experience is a risky move. I just don't think they can understand that you have to be prepared every week when you play an SEC opponent. Brian Kelly is also struggling with that.
Vandy would absolutely boat race us if we played them this year
Vandy is doing what a team with a horrible defense needs to be doing and thats controlling the time of possession. We stayed in the TX game not because our defense was making big plays (TX gained 520 yards on us). It was because we controlled the ball. Whatever we need to do to keep our defense off the field we need to do it.
Vandy QB is a beast.
This has got to be the biggest upset in the SEC in a long, long time.
Bama #13 is a bitch. Stop somebody and you won’t have to act like that, asshole
Congrats Clark Lee. Takes time to try to build something. They look pretty solid this year
Wow they did it.
What an insane day.
Vandy deserves a win like this.
Somebody check on Tusk.
Clark talks like he actually likes Vandy
The idea that Texas might win a national title in their first year in the conference is CRAZY.
Wow that was an awesome game. Diego Pavia is a stud. Feels so good seeing Bama lose. *Controversial take warning* I'd rather see Bama lose than OM. I can't stand that team.
Clark Lea just explained about getting everyone on the same page with NIL and recruiting at Vandy. They were 18 months behind everyone else.
This gives me more hope about Lebby and Selmon revitalizing the program.
NIL was a problem for us. I think recent lack of stability was a bigger one. We would probably be talking a different talk if Leach were still alive. That being said, we’ll probably be better off long term with Lebby getting here now vs. later. Not saying I’m glad Leach is gone by any means.
Kaelen DeBoer is NOT Nick Saban.
And I'll say this- I think NIL and portal may have actually leveled the playing field in the SEC to a degree.
How many times during the Dan Mullen era did we have a pretty good team but we had like one unit that was really really bad and the Alabama's and LSU's would just target that position group and kill it? If we had the portal and NIL we could have filled those gaps better.
Jerry Kill was Vandy's biggest pick up.
I can not wait to see the next Bama redneck in his 25yr old beat up pickup truck with one of those huge Bama “A” stickers across the back windshield. You all know you have seen at least one of what I described.
Congratulations Vandy! I am jealous.
It?s annoying our fans act like NIL is going to kill state. It?s going to kill small programs. Were going to lose some to even bigger fish, but mostly were going to be the one doing the poaching and be fine if we play the game and stop acting like losers. Thank god for Charlie and Selmon
Clark is a Vandy Graduate. The Bama wins gives him stability for more years now.
Yeah and the we ain't got the talent BS. Talent is only maybe 1/3 of the formula. NIL helps with that but if you spend NIL on the wrong players, it don't matter.
Anyone think Vandy has more talent or NIL than Bama?
MSU can compete and we will after NIL and portal once we get the right players and coaches. Yep talent, coaching, and attitude (culture) are the winning formula. NIL can actually hurt attitude and culture if it is not managed right.
He's already camped out behind Deboers house
Any SEC team can beat another SEC team on any given day... except MSU. Sad.
